This is truly one of the worlds finest wildlife and bird observation binoculars. We have just a few, the last few in eurpoe. The use of fully multi-coated coated BaK-4 materials gives excellent luminosity and image definition. The SDT 10x42 is fully waterproof and nitrogen gas purged for fog-free performance. Wide field of view The SDT 10x42 has a wider field of view than many other models in its class (105m at a 1000m) making target finding easier and quicker than many competitor models. The higher magnification and large 42mm primary optics give this binocular excellent light-grasp and twilight performance (important for bird and wildlife watching). The inclreased magnification (compared to the 8x version) sacrifices only a small reduction in field-of-view and overall brightness. Designed for a lifetimes service, the SDT feature a rigid but light aluminium alloy chassis with CNC machined high-precision optical mountings. Three position screw up/down soft rubber eyecups help to achieve 100% field of view for those viewing with or without spectacles. Full rubber armour (for protection and safe, silent handling in the field) and waterproofing as well as nitrogen gas filling, to stop internal fogging. The body has non-slip handsome and ergonomic rubber armouring, making the SDT superb in appearance and secure in the hand (click middle picture to see size indication photo). Includes deluxe carry-case and wide padded neck strap for all-day comfort and front and rear one-piece rain-guards. Built to ISO9001 & 14001 certification.
